Investigation of the influence of outdoor air temperature on the efficiency of the regenerative heat exchanger

Finding ways to lower an energy consumtion in a country side leads to development of new energy-saving technologies. One of the ways to lower an energy consumption is ьdiminishing energy consumption spent on a keeping animals and birds. Using supply and exhaust recuperators is one of perspective trends in power saving. However, the efficacy of recuperators operation is limited by the climate of a region. In this particular study research of maximum, minimum and average outdoor temperatures in Kostroma region by months in the period from 2015 to 2021 is presented. Based on the data obtained, the months of the most efficient operation of the heat exchanger, the temperature for calculating the thermal balance of the room and further constructive calculations of the heat exchanger were determined. The obtained data of the minimum temperature values will be used for technical calculations of the additional sector of the heat exchanger.
