The improvement method of electro contact cutting to lower specific outlay has been offered. It has been shown that we can effect on the technological indexes of the cutting process at the expense of temperature regulation in the cutting zone, the disc electrode-instrument giving at heating front movement is allowed to bring down the specific outlay taking into account treatment conditions.
