Investigation of the effect of fine disperse additives on the properties of composite binders for hydraulic concrete

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of the study on the possibility of using vitreous and crystallized perlite to produce composite binders of hydraulic concrete. It considers kinetics of cement mortars hardening using vitreous and crystallized perlite with varying degrees of dispersion and superplasticizers Sika Viscocrete and C-3. It proves that compositions with vitreous perlite and superplasticizers allow obtaining a cement mortar with the required compressive strength and reduced values of heat release during cement hydration compared to traditional compositions. That significantly affects the crack resistance of concrete for massive hydraulic structures. The research founds out that the most rational compositions are those containing 20% vitreous perlite with a specific surface area of 600 m2 / kg, and superplasticizers Sika Viscocrete and C-3, which provide an increase in strength after 28 days by 49 and 41%, respectively, compared with the control composition.
