The article presents the results of studying a voltage sensor based on a system of galvanically coupled bodies. It shows the necessity of taking into account the sources of external electric fields when determining the equivalent capacitance of the passive body included in the sensor. It also presents the results of a study using computer simulation by the finite element method. This study focused on the influence of both the fields of the active body and the electric fields of neighboring phases on the equivalent capacitance of the passive body. When studying the influence of the electric field of an active body, we considered the change in distance both from the active body to the measuring resistor and from the measuring resistor to the passive body. The last section of the article presents the results of experimental studies of the influence of the electric field of an active body on the equivalent capacitance of a passive body, which confirmed the results of computer modeling.
