In experiment, the effect of diosmin on the rheological status of blood in venous congestion of the lower extremities in white rats weighing up to 300 grams was investigated. Experimental venous congestion, which occurred in more than half of the experimental animals, manifested itself in various clinical forms. Erythrocyte aggregation was studied as a marker of fluidity, which was measured in all subjects in the target group before and after exposure to diosmin in vivo, as well as in intact animals. It should be noted that in rats where there were no clinical signs, aggre-gation intensity increased. During the experiment, it was found that diosmin exposure in percent-age terms is more effective in a group of animals with venous congestion than without it. In addi-tion, it turned out that the intensity and scale of the manifestation of venous stasis correlate with the percentage age of erythrocyte aggregation.
