Investigation of UV-radiation effects on the structure of thermo-protective covering of rocket motor cases from divinyl-isoprene rubber

In this work the results of direct visualization of changes of surface of divinylisoprene rubber 51-1667 under UV-radiation impact in air atmosphere, received via Atomic-Force Microscopy (AFM) are given. It was shown that after the radiation on the surface of rubber samples a variety of cracks and recesses with the depth in the range between 200…700 nm is observed.
