Research of the relationship of individual-psychological characteristics of trust and rigidity of organization staff regarding their social representations on ecological and digital products

The study of the relationship of the individual psychological characteristics of the organization’s employees, on the one hand, and their social perceptions regarding the use of technologies and products of the digital economy, on the other hand, is very relevant today in connection with the rapid pace of digitalization of the economy and other spheres of society. In this work, we used trust / distrust and rigidity as individual psychological characteristics of the organization’s employees to compare them with social ideas about the technologies and products of the digital economy. To collect and process the data, the Methodology of trust / distrust of the world, other people, themselves (author - A. B. Kupreychenko) and the Methodology for determining the degree of rigidity (authors - G. Aizenk and E. Ilyin) were used. Social representations were identified using specially designed tools and analyzed according to a number of parameters. As a diagnostic tool for measuring the social perceptions of users regarding the frequency and direction of use of digital technologies, as well as parameters for evaluating their use of new digital technologies, two methods specially created by the authors were chosen: Methodology “User scale” and Methodology “11 scales”. For data processing methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis were used. One of the stages of empirical research is described. A quantitative analysis of the data (including correlation analysis) did not reveal a significant relationship, therefore, the hypothesis that the hypothesis on the presence of a significant relationship of the studied characteristics was not initially confirmed. A qualitative analysis of the data showed that respondents with low values of General distrust in their social perceptions indicate a greater activity in the use of technologies and products of the digital economy than respondents with high values. A possible interpretation of the results is presented as the main conclusions.
