The study of the importance of agricultural sectors in the structure of the real sector of the economy of Kazakhstan

Аbstract. The article examines the place and role of crop and livestock industries in the structure of the real sector of the economy of Kazakhstan by studying the results of processing long-term primary statistical data. The authors believe that with the help of factor analysis, which is one of the methods of multidimensional statistical analysis, it is possible to group the branches of the real sector of the economy according to the criterion of identity of the variability of long-term values of indicators. According to the described methodology, in Kazakhstan, the crop and livestock industries, as well as the manufacturing industry, form a group in which the long-term values of the indicators of these industries are characterized by interrelated variability. By analogy, it can be argued that the mining industry, construction, communications industry and the indicator "investments in fixed assets" are combined into another group with identical variability of long-term values of indicators. The authors believe that this is a confirmation that investments in Kazakhstan are mainly directed to the mining industry, construction and communications industry.
