Studies of hematological parameters laboratory animals in the study of subchronic toxicity of the drug L-carnitine

This article is specialized in preclinical studies of the injectable drug l-carnitine. The subject of the study was outbred rats (n=30) females weighing 190-210 grams. All laboratory animals were divided into 3 groups: 2 experimental and 1 control. As the main diet, rats received a complete compound feed for laboratory animals LBK-120. The rats of the experimental groups, along with the main diet, were injected intramuscularly with the injectable drug l-carnitine in doses determined by the study conditions. At the end of the experiment, it was found that high doses of l-carnitine with intramuscular administration did not cause significant changes in hematological blood parameters.
