The article presents new results of field research at the Early Paleolithic site of Darvagchai-Zaliv-4, including the description and analysis of the stratigraphic profile and lithic assemblage. The lithic industry of the site is characterized by poor typological distinctiveness and instability of core and tool forms. The most pronounced “marker” of tool assemblage is large pebble (choppers) and bifacial (hand axes, picks) tools. The recent archaeological field research has yielded new and numerous data on the regional prehistory, which make it possible to understand more clearly the general picture of the evolution of lithic industries during the Paleolithic on this territory, starting from its earliest stages.
