The relevance of this article stems from the growing intensity of the West's informational, ideological, and psychological campaign against Russia. The goal of this campaign is clear: to disintegrate the post-Soviet space, sever its ties with Russia, devalue and erase the civilizational achievements of the Soviet era, and undermine the cultural and historical values as well as the spiritual kinship of the former Soviet peoples. Through theoretical and abstract concepts such as "decolonization" and "desovietization," the West seeks to construct a negative image of the USSR and consign to oblivion the shared historical past of the peoples who were part of it. The accomplishments of the Soviet economy, culture, education, healthcare, as well as industrial and agricultural development, are portrayed as threats to the identity and Turkic roots of the peoples of Central Asia. Thus, exploring the contribution of Soviet governance to the formation and advancement of modern Kyrgyzstan remains particularly relevant, especially in terms of studying and applying Soviet practices in the development of agriculture and livestock farming. Based on an analysis of expeditionary surveys conducted by Russian scientists on Kyrgyzstan’s natural resources and productive forces, the authors conclude that the initiatives of Soviet authorities and Russian scholars played a fundamental role in shaping Kyrgyzstan's economy.
