Crack resistance is one of the most important characteristics of reinforced ceramic composite materials (CMC). It is they who determine the ability of the CMC to resist crack growth, which can occur both at the stage of manufacturing a part and during operation under the action of operational loads. Within the framework of this work, a method has been developed for determining the characteristics of crack resistance of a layered composite material with a type II displacement of the crack surface. The method has shown its efficiency and sufficient stability of the results obtained for reinforced composite materials, including ceramic.
