The author dwells upon the issue of the exploration and the history of the Far East, searching for ways to protect domestic natural resources, the role and significance of the famous polar explorer, B.A. Vilkitskiy against foreign interference and the smuggling of biological resources. New archive documents of the Far East National Historical Archive have become known due to this article.
