Research and project-based activity in the school course “General Biology” at the example of the theme “Photosynthesis”

The concepts of project and study and the problems and potential of project-based and research activity in the school course of Biology at the example of the theme “Photosynthesis” are considered. There is conducted the analysis of the Federal work program of basic general education (basic and advanced level) of Biology. There is developed the example of scientific and research project of the theme “Photosynthesis pigments of pelargonium” for the advanced study of the theme “Photosynthesis” in the context of extracurricular study or scientific circle for the 9–10th form students.
