Research opportunities of event analysis in the study of communication between authorities and the population in the region

The present research considers the possibilities of application of the event analysis method in the study of communication between regional authorities and the population as in case of information activities of the Administration of the Government of Kuzbass on the site of the official community in Odnoklassniki social network. Event analysis is characterized as an effective tool for studying communication through the analysis of data on important events in the life of society in social networks. The conducted sociological research allowed the authors to draw conclusions about the degree and nature of the information background of important events of both federal and regional agendas in the official profile of the community, about the quality of feedback organization, the public resonance of specific information events, etc. The need to develop communication between regional authorities and the population on official platforms in social networks seems obvious and requires researchers to use modern methods of analysis.
