Ion source for mass spectrometric isotopic gas analysis. Iii. Development of a special ion source for the МТИ350Г mass spectrometer for isotopic analysis of uranium hexafluoride

The paper presents a procedure for the development of an ion-optical system of the ion source used with the МТИ350Г mass spectrometer for isotopic gas-phase analysis of uranium. It is shown that taking into account some special features of the physicochemical properties of the analyte (uranium hexafluoride in our case) may influence the choice of priorities in defining the system parameters.
