Cattle kidneys get the multi-segment innervation from kidney plexus, which is located in the direction of kidney artery. The nerves beginning from 12-13 breast; 1,2, and 4 of sympathetic tube lumbar segments, and also from semilunar, cranial and caudal kidney-aortal and caudal masenterial nodes, but also from single branches of dorsal digestive tube of tenth cranial nerve take part in the formation of this plexus.
