Sources of formation of sexual values and attitudes of modern youth

The article examines the sources of formation of sexual values and attitudes of modern youth in the early age period. The moral orientations of the new generation traditionally differ from the beliefs of older age groups. The change in priorities in this area today affects the quality of life of the population and the level of their social well-being. The categories of freedom, responsibility, and solitude are intertwined here. Human sexuality, as well as the value concepts that comprise it, predetermine the subject's behavior not only in personal relationships, but also in social ones. The study showed that today the formation of young people's sexual attitudes is primarily influenced by sources that do not have scientifically based information. The family has been removed from this aspect of education, its role in shaping the sexual behavior patterns of the younger generation is very small, as a result of which the sexual socialization of youth becomes uncontrollable and unmanageable, which requires state intervention in the process of popularizing family education in modern society.
