Source study aspect of Russian police studies according to the reference edition A.N. Bukunovsky

The article presents an analysis of the content of the «Reference Book» of 1900, which includes the necessary list of information, the goal-setting of which is associated with the «armament» of the police officers of the Russian Empire with mandatory information in the interests of the proper performance of the area of their functional duties. According to the authors, the noted historiographical document is of undoubted interest for the modern generation of researchers of the pages of the history of domestic police studies.
