M.G. Delyagin's new book testifies to the timeliness and great importance of a comprehensive study and understanding of the mechanisms of systemic strategic dominance of the Anglo-Saxon core of the collective West for ensuring national security and protecting Russia's national interests. The author gives the examples of the lack of accuracy in highlighting the mechanisms of systemic geopolitical and socio-cultural Anglo-Saxon dominance, expressed in the absence of translation into Russian of basic research by foreign authors in these areas. The article identifies promising areas of historical research from the point of view of the implementation of Russian information and identity politics, ensuring the value sovereignty of Russia, which are important for debunking the myths of supremacy, systematically planted by the United Kingdom, the United States and their satellites in the information space and substantiating the justice of the unipolar world order. The author notices some positive trends associated with the republication and the appearance of new works on this subject.
