The article examines the philosophical foundations and origins of the concept of "life education" in the teachings of the renowned Chinese philosopher Liang Shuming. The concept of "life education" in China is aimed at "recognizing the essence of life, understanding the meaning of life, and valuing life." In contemporary society, the development of "life education" as a systematic cultivation in children and youth of respect and responsible attitudes towards life is particularly relevant. This concept plays a significant role in China in ensuring sustainable comprehensive harmonious development of the individual. The authors of the article reveal the main stages of the formation of Liang Shuming's doctrine of life education, examine the practical aspects of its implementation, and highlight key aspects of his understanding of the meaning of human life.
