Historical aspects of flood flow fighting of Zeyskaya hydro-electric power station

The article describes the importance of flood flow fighting of Zeyskaya hydro-electric power station (the Amur region). For the first time ever the author specifies crucial problems caused by flood flows and resolved with Zeyskaya hydro-electric power station activation. The object of the study is an overview of floods in Zeyskiy, Mazanovskiy, Svobodnenskiy, Ser-yshevskiy, Belogorskiy, Ivanovskiy, Blagoveschenckiy districts of the Amur region during 1928-2007 years and significance of Zeyskaya hydro-electric power station in flood flow control.
