Historical aspects of transport development in the Krasnoyarsk region in XX century

Бесплатный доступ

The purpose of the study is to identify the dynamics of transport development in the Krasnoyarsk Region and to study the factors affecting the instability of its work. The paper analyzes the change in the volume of freight turnover by all modes of transport. It is noted that since the beginning of the 90s, a sharp decline in freight traffic by more than 3,6 times has been observed in the region. Technical and operational indices indicate an improvement in public transport in comparison with departmental transport. The untimely replenishment of new rolling stock and the lack of an effective repair base had an impact on the reduction of the vehicle fleet in motor transport enterprises and the increase in their service life. The regional fleet of cars with a service life of more than 10 years is over 30 %. The subject of the study is the decomposition of the structure of the regional car park by type, form of ownership, including in rural areas. According to research data, in the 1990s, urban road transport had wear and tear of more than 50%, but at the same time, the number of privately owned cars was constantly increasing, mainly due to foreign-made cars. The main number of cars is concentrated in cities and large settlements. In Krasnoyarsk there are 39 % of cars from their total number. The considered historical aspects will replenish the database of transport logistics of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
