Historical aspects of the exercise of family rights and responsibilities under the Russian legislation

The article is devoted to some aspects of development of the institution of family and marriage, evolution of the rights and duties of parents. We reveal family rights and responsibilities of spouses, as well as those of parents and children from the Russian Empire up to the present. The legal status of family members in the Soviet period is considered in sufficient detail. Complex socioeconomic situation in modern society causes a family crisis, abandonment of traditional values of the family. Therefore studying the history of legal regulation of relationships in the family related to the rights and responsibilities of spouses, parents and children is of great scientific interest.
