Historical roots of the “wealth” category

In the modern world the issue of interpreting wealth is pretty much settled, the wealth is considered to express personal success in business, a result of improvement of following special skills - creative, organizational, athletic and others. But conclusions in favour of this attitude are not obvious. Since ancient times people aspired to cognize the nature of wealth, researched the phenomenon and the desire to be rich. Collective work of philosophers, economists, psychologists and other scientists still doesn’t explain the nature of such a phenomenon as wealth. The topic is many-sided and affects the interests of different social classes.
