The historical personalities in the Russian school textbooks in the second half of XIX century

The article deals with Russian history textbooks of the second half of the XIX century and the reflection in them of the historical personalities. It shows the different approaches to evaluation of the role the individual in the historical process, depending on the methodological approach «professed» by the author.
