Historical features of the life of Russian Jews in Tianjin in the 1920-1940's

This article studies the historical peculiarities of the life of Russian Jews in Tianjin. The main problems of their life have been analyzed. It is shown that in difficult situations Jewish organizations in Tianjin conducted active and flexible foreign policy protecting the interests of their compatriots as well as helping them and thus, made a great contribution to support of the Zionist movement.
