History of emergence and dislocation of aircraft in Krasnodar (Ekaterinodare) in 1910-1921

The world community knows about application of military aircraft in the Caucasus on the only thing in the world air battle in Kuban in World War II of 1943 in which more than 1100 planes participated. Many researches are devoted to this battle and even in London there is a museum. Elimination of the existing gap in military history of Russia the Russian historians and the public plan to create a diorama of this event with display of history of the Russian and Soviet aircraft in the Caucasian region. The author, on the basis of contemporary records, memoirs, materials of periodicals of various periods of time, solves a problem of historical events and opens a cycle of articles, on this subject introducing the new facts into circulation. So already in "The military and historical magazine" 2014, application of aircraft on the Caucasian front in 1915-1918 is for the first time shown. In this article the phenomenon of emergence, a location and conducting combat operations from airfield of the capital of the Kuban Cossacks during Civil war, young means of conducting armed struggle – aircraft is consecrated. For the first time residents of the Caucasus saw "iron birds" on demonstrative flights in Tiflis (since 1936 – Tbilisi) on October 16 and in Baku on October 20, 1910 piloted by pilots S.I. Utochkin and Adam Haber-Vlynsky. On November 29 the pilot A.A. Vasilyev made flight Elizavetpol (since 1918 - Gandzha, since 1935 - Kirovabad) – Tiflis. But everything began with Ekaterinodar on September 21, 1910.
