The reunification of Crimea with Russia - is an act of restoration of historical justice, which confirmed the Russian civilizational belonging of Crimea. Reintegration processes resulting from the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia are multidimensional. The leading role is played by geopolitical consequences. Due to the geographical position of the Crimean peninsula Russia gained strategic control over the entire Azov-Black Sea region.
