The historical aspect of the accumulation in the Russian criminal proceedings

The study of an acquittal makes it possible to understand how the criminal justice system developed in Russia, what principles and norms were enshrined in legislation, and how they were applied in practice. It also helps to better understand the problems and shortcomings of the current justice system and develop measures to improve it. The purpose of this article is to review the history of acquittal in Russian criminal proceedings, to identify its significance and role in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
