The article deals with the historical features of formation of creative potential of the staff, which manifests itself in a variety of initiatives to human resource development. It determines the relationship of labor potential and the potential realization of creative abilities of the organization. It reveals the need for effective use of the creative potential of the personnel in the system of organizational processes. The authors conclude that, in the activities of management of the organization required considerable experience and skills to determine the most effective way of development of creative potential of the staff.
