Historical mediadiscourse in the context of recreative journalism

The article is devoted to the description of strategies and methods of creating the recreative content of popular historical journals. The following problems are considered: what is the aim of the promotion of entertaining media-material of historical character and how semiotically the events are interpreteted, the text of the events is oriented on the unsophisticated andience? How conscious, planned and structured process for generating semantic field, whether there is it the result of conscious human effort? It is assumed that the aim is dictated not only and not so much media marketing strategies, but above all, the desire for filling the mental space of meanings and discourses, and thus, the process of creating media texts is largely spontaneous and controlled except that the inertia of public attitudes and stereotypes. The author of the article uses the common sight on the humanitarian principle that the historiсal reality is achieved through the text itself - the historical knowledge is narrative presented by a set of texts that give rise to various interpretations, and the practice of the media could not be better illustrates this semantic constant. It is proved that the historical facts in the terms of entertaining journalistics are represented in their lower version. The article notes that in the typology of the modern scientific and popular journalism history shows quite meager. Investigating semiotic catalysts of recreativity, as the creation of the atmos «aura» of mistary, the exploitation of the interest to something unbelievable, incredible, the mixture of styles, “experiments” in the field of alternative stories and investigative journalism, interest to unusual etc. The conclusion is that the recreational historical journalism constructed templates popular literature, using the traditional for this culture techniques causing the text, especially of plot strategy dramatization of individual fragments of text, narrative technique, as well as building a “realistic” character system and is characterized by a standard set genres.
