The historic necropolis of Kyakhta as a lost object of cultural heritage

This paper is dedicated to the historical necropolis of Kyakhta. It studies history of the object and characteristics of the main burial place. The article presents the historical necropolis as a place of memory, element of culture, and a social space. The necropolis of the historical town of Kyakhta in the Republic of Buryatia is presented as a lost object of cultural heritage.
