Historical experience of the application of the principles of electoral law in the formation of local self-government in Russia

The article considers the issue of the development of local self-government as a basis in the formation of Russian civil society. The historical stages of the genesis of local self-government in Russia are presented. It is concluded that the introduction of the historical experience of local self-government with the application of the principles of Electoral law is a means of strengthening the state through the processes of making and implementing managerial decisions on issues of vital activity of the Russian population.
