Historical question and the Constitution Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the connection between historical events and the text of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The author notes that the Constitution was adopted in extremely difficult historical conditions. The very adoption of the Constitution by referendum has already become a historic event. However, there was practically no reference to history in the text of the Constitution, except for the text of the Preamble. This situation was corrected during the adoption of amendments to the Constitution in 2020. The very appeal to the historical past in the text of the Basic Law was also caused by historical reasons. The amendments demonstrated changes in Russian society, the need to consolidate historical continuity and the important role of historical science.
