Historical Heritage and Traditions in the Activities of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia

The article examines the importance of studying historical and cultural events related to the religious life of Muslims in the Russian Federation for educational and upbringing purposes. Particular attention is paid to the historical legacy of the Orenburg Muslim Spiritual Assembly and its contribution to the development of the Muslim community in the country. The key traditions and cultural principles established by this organization are analyzed, and the role of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia as a successor in the modern context is emphasized. The article also examines the actions of this structure aimed at preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Muslim community, which underlines the importance of its work in the context of the current challenges of our time. The results of a thematic survey of students of the Moscow State Linguistic University – future theologians – on the problems of the history of religious and state organizations of Muslims in Russia are presented. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that it is necessary to intensify work with youth in the context of preserving the spiritual memory of generations.
