Historical development of the institution of change and termination of the contract

In the article the author considers the history of formation of the institution of change and termination of the contract in the pre-revolutionary and Soviet period. In particular, the author considers the pre-revolutionary period of development of the civil legislation, defines the main features of the contract law of this period. The author points out that this institution of civil law in pre-revolutionary Russia did not know full regulation. This situation can be explained by the fact that the civil law of pre-revolutionary Russia was extremely underdeveloped. The author also deals with the Soviet period of development of civil legislation, identifies the main shortcomings of legal regulation of changes and termination of the contract in this period.
