History of the activities of Mondy customs in 1926-1927

The article deals with the history of Mondy Customs in 1926-1927. We present a historical analysis that allows determining the quantitative and qualitative composition of imports and exports of goods. It's a matter of fact that customs barriers had a huge impact on the development of interstate relations, so the study of the development of customs in the border regions seems relevant and important for historical science. The article 1 О Мондинской таможни shows the main economic activity of the customs point, expenses for its maintenance, and the share of customs in the state revenues. We have analyzed the activities of the customs point and its economic efficiency through the government receipts. An analysis of the reporting documentation of the customs point allowed us to identify the main forms of customs control used in the practice of customs institutions. The study of archival documents has shown the features of the activity of customs authorities in the 1920s and made it possible to trace the further development of customs in the Buryat-Mongol Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
