History of formation and combat path of 314th rifle division from Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)

Introduction. The purpose of the article is to analyze the formation and combat path of the 314th Infantry Division, formed in 1941 at the territory of the Kazakh SSR. The relevance of the study was determined by the need to study the history of the formation of the Kazakhstani division, from the date of the decree of the State Defense Committee of the USSR, the implementation of this decree by the leadership of the Kazakh SSR, the participation of the military authorities of the republic in the implementation of the planned goals on the ground through the organization of interaction between local government and military administration, the command of the division, the Central Asian Military District in the territorial responsibility of which included the republic.
