Studying the development of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation at the beginning of the XXI century. received their development in the scientific materials contained in the works of modern researchers from near and far abroad, as well as domestic scientists. The historiography of the problem we are studying is reflected in a number of works of the last decade of the 20th and early 21st centuries, in which, to varying degrees, objectivity, the issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation and their development were studied. In general, it should be noted that the issues of international relations of post-Soviet sovereign and independent states, the role and place of the new national republics of the post-Soviet space in the world community and the degree of their influence in the international arena were studied by both eminent and lesser-known scientists in a number of countries. In the formation, formation and further development of full-fledged international relations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, they were in the center of attention of a number of scientists from both countries. First of all, it should be noted the general work of domestic scientists and diplomats devoted to the analysis of foreign policy and international relations of sovereign and independent Kyrgyzstan. A powerful impetus to the further development of Russian-Kyrgyz relations was given by the official visit of President Vladimir Putin to Bishkek on September 19-20, 2012, during which a number of agreements were signed concerning various aspects of bilateral cooperation. These and other problems are widely covered in the above article by the authors.
