History of Karakalpak ethnography

The article deals with the history of ethnography of the Karakalpak people. Karakalpaks are one of the ancient indigenous Turkic-speaking peoples of Central Asia. The accumulated historical and ethnographic materials indicate that in the past applied art, folklore, etc. was one of the main spheres of the spiritual culture of the Karakalpak people.
