The history of the Khovd region of the Qing empire in the works of the Mongol researchers

The article deals with the Mongolian historiography of the history of the Khovd region of the Qing Empire. The conducted historiographic review showed that today there are no special complex works devoted to the history of this administrative entity, while the already existing historiography considers a limited range of problems (the history of the formation of the Khovd region, the authorities on its territory, its administrative division, the history of the Khovd).
