A horse has long been a faithful companion and helper of man. The special relationship of humanity with the mighty creation of God's will and nature has inspired writers, poets and artists to create immortal works from century to century. The tradition of depicting a horse has its roots in the prehistoric period and remains popular at all times. This article examines a very short period in Russian art when hippie painting acquired an independent character.
