The article examines the history of the creation of a monastic community in the village Kozya Gora, Slantsevsky district, Leningrad region. The list of the community’s residents from 1904 to 1916 is given, and the process of reorganizing the community into a monastery and, in the post-revolutionary period, into a parish community is described. For the first time, sources are being introduced into scientific circulation that make it possible to establish the history of the creation of the community and its composition. The facts of participation of the Sts. Hieromartyrs Veniamin (Kazansky) and Kirill (Smirnov) in the creation of the community are noted.
