On the basis of the modern scientific methodological approaches: micro-history, gender and the theory of everyday life, the article considers the question of women’s rights in Yakutia in 1920-s. The study of a winter day of a Yakut Ulus woman allows the author to reveal the typical causes of extinction of women, their high mortality rate and exposure to many social diseases - neuropsychic, tuberculosis, trachoma; breaking of their characters and destinies. The study of everyday life in feminology expands the research field, complements the traditional source study.
