The history of the development of juvenile justice

Having comprehended the actual nature of the legal phenomenon in the historical context, it is possible to fully reveal the existing modern problems, therefore, the study of the genesis of juvenile justice in Russia will help determine the importance of this institution at the present stage. The authors of the article, revealing the history of the development of state institutions and judicial bodies considering issues related to juvenile justice, show that juvenile justice in domestic practice covered a broader sphere of state activity than justice, but ultimately did not receive proper development.
