History of the development of landscape geography

In this thesis, the goals and objectives of the science of landscape geography, the history of its development, and the scientific views of scientists who contributed to the development of the science are discussed. One of the new directions in landscape science is landscape forecasting, i.e., the development of landscapes, their changes as a result of one or another influence is analyzed.
