History of development of liability for illegal receipt of credit and malicious evasion of payables in the pre-revolutionary period of development of Russian legislation

The article deals with the historical aspect of the development of crimes in the field of credit relations. The analysis of the criminal (and not only) legislation of the past makes it possible to say with confidence that already in the prerevolutionary period in society there was an awareness of the need to criminalize acts that resemble the crimes provided for in articles 176 and 177 of the current criminal law.
