History of the development concepts of non-clinical narcissism

The article presents an analysis of the literature on the study of non-clinical narcissism. A brief excursion into the history of the development of ideas about non-clinical narcissism is given: the isolation of narcissism from the tradition of clinical psychology, the differentiation of the norm and pathology of narcissism, the grounds for dividing narcissism as a personality trait into several forms, models of non-clinical narcissism. Particular attention is paid to the grandiose and vulnerable form of narcissism.
