The history of the development of criminal liability for abuse of office

The article analyzes the development of criminal legislation on liability for abuse of power. Evidence of this development is the distinction in the criminal code of the RSFSR in 1922 abuse of power and abuse of power, as well as the appearance in the criminal code of the RSFSR in 1922 of a special composition - abuse of power by a military official. Throughout the history of the composition of the abuse of power in its design has taken into account the consequences of the act. Before the advent of the criminal code, there were several sources that contain provisions on the fight against business crimes, including the abuse of authority: the Law in 1497 and 1550 years, the penal Code and criminal corrections 1845 Ulozhenie 1903, the criminal code of the RSFSR in 1922.
